Meeting New People

Being a child of a service member for the majority of my life, I have experienced many interesting and enlightening moments, learned an innumerable number of lessons, and found that my perspective of the world has been forever altered by said lifestyle. These blog posts will cover ten different ways that being a military child has impacted my life.

Moving and traveling constantly has allowed me to develop my people skills quite thoroughly. I am extremely extroverted as a result of my environment, and I am proud to consider myself someone who would walk up to anyone just to introduce myself. I want everyone I meet to feel included to be my friend and come to me with their stresses and worries. It is amazing to ask people questions and learn more about them as individuals. It is uncovering the very depths of human experience; it reveals how we are all so very different but the same as well. While I know many different people in many different places, the experiences I have outlast any significant distance.
