Being a child of a service member for the majority of my life, I have experienced many interesting and enlightening moments, learned an innumerable number of lessons, and found that my perspective of the world has been forever altered by said lifestyle. These blog posts will cover ten different ways that being a military child has impacted my life.

Moving is a large part of the life of a military child. In my 18 years alone, I have lived in 6 different states, and many people live in more. While this can be seen as a huge negative to our life style, I see it as a positive. Every time we move, I am being given the opportunity for a grand new adventure. I am able to learn about an entirely new place, its culture, and its people, and the inner workings of its environment. My favorite part is stumbling across a new favorite place. It can be anywhere: a random park, a climbing tree, or a trail. But, it shows me that I am always where I am meant to be.
