Hi! My name is Mackenzie Miller, I am 17 years old, and I am a dual enrollment student attending the online school Georgia Connections Academy (more info on GACA/online school here) and University of West Georgia (more info on dual enrollment here). I am a leader of five clubs at my school, a ten year Girl Scout, entrepreneur, a feminist, and a mover and shaker.
I’ve been interested in fashion since I was a child. The thrill of playing different characters with clothing everyday excites me; it shows me that anything I can imagine is possibility. With piles of dress up clothes and sketches in my coloring books, I knew fashion is what I am meant to do.
To cultivate my creative passion, I learned to sew in middle school, enrolled in fashion camp every summer, and continue to craft a closet of my own creations. This burning desire to create has given me opportunities to work creating sustainable, 3D printed jewelry, design and weave my own fabric, develop a unique brand targeted at the evolving consumer, and created this blog to document my experiences in the new digital realm of wearable creativity.
I will continue to grow my eye for fashion and plan to become a fashion merchandiser, product developer, and entrepreneur. My goal is to make all people feel confident as they get dressed every day and to show that conviction with every step.
If you’d like to know more about my professional endeavors, please check out my resume. If art is more your fancy, feel free to look over my portfolio. To read my weekly ramblings, head over to my blog. For any questions, feel free to contact me!
